Is Surrogacy For Us?
If you are wondering if surrogacy is right for you I highly recommend consulting with a fertility doctor to learn more about what may be preventing you from conceiving and carrying to term. There are a lot of interventions that can help you conceive; and surrogacy is the last resort for many couples because it is quite expensive and requires IVF to create embryos.
If you do not have a fertility doctor yet, I recommend you yet reach out to My Fertility Cloud. They are a telemedicine-only clinic licensed in 47 states to provide complete non-surgical fertility treatment and advice. The reason why more and more patients go to them is because they provide the most convenient fertility treatment in the US for an affordable cost.
Looking for a Surrogate?
Are you intended parents looking for a surrogate?
For many intended parents, looking for a surrogate is one of the most exciting, yet overwhelming, steps in the surrogacy process.
As hopeful intended parents, your choice of surrogate may be the most important decision you make throughout your surrogacy process. After all, this is the woman you will be partnering with for a year or more throughout this intimate experience, and you will be placing a great deal of trust in her as she carries the hopes and dreams you have for your growing family.
So, how exactly do you go about finding the perfect surrogate for your family? And how do you build a strong relationship with the stranger you choose to embark on this journey with? There are a few ways to do this. One, you can find your match independently, such as with a family member or a friend you know. Or two, you can match with someone you meet online like I did for my first surrogacy journey.
Check out my Surrogacy Match Group on Facebook if interested in finding a surrogate independently or you can look into going through Your Fertility Advocate. A surrogacy agency that can help you navigate your journey.
If you decide to match independently, it’s important that you are well educated on all the important and necessary pieces that go into planning an independent surrogacy journey, such as obtaining legal representation, health insurance, and planning for baby’s arrival at the hospital, etc. I highly recommend this E-Course for all parents looking to navigate a surrogacy journey independently. This course provides all the knowledge you would gain if using an agency, but at a fraction of the cost.
The third way to find a surrogate is by working through a surrogacy agency. Even though I did an independent journey for my first surrogacy, I was excited to be working with an experienced and reputable agency called, Your Fertility Advocate, for my second journey. They provide support and guidance through every step of the process and are working hard to find a great match for me and to make sure both myself and the Intended Parents have the best journey possible!
IF you already have an agency you are working with BUT have not been matched, tell your agency to reach out to Make Families, a business that I co-founded. We are a service that connects reputable agencies to surrogates waiting to be match. You can check us our HERE. You never know, your miracle surrogate could be waiting for you.
If you don’t have an agency yet, I encourage you to check out Your Fertility Advocate by clicking here. You can fill in an application designating what you are looking for in a match, and they will let you know if they have someone good for you!
